The combination of NA and Cumerio in April 2008 has created the largest integrated copper producer and processor in Europe. Together, the two companies will produce one million tonnes of copper cathodes per year, employing a workforce of almost 4,700. With production sites in Germany, Belgium, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Italy, Slovakia and Switzerland, the enhanced group opens up new vistas for continued growth, even beyond Europe.
