Pirdop
Cumerio Med in Pirdop transforms concentrates with 25 -35 % copper content into anodes (99% Cu). The annual smelting capacity is around 240,000 tons. Part of the anodes is transported by train to the Cumerio plant in Olen, Belgium as feed for the electrolytic refinery. Cumerio Med also produces 60,000 tons of copper cathodes for the regional markets.
