Cathodes
Cu-cathodes are the reference quality for the Cu-price quotation on LME (London Metal Exchange - London).
Copper cathodes are either directly transformed into copper products or sold on the market. The main intermediate product is wire rod, representing over 55% of the total copper consumption.
Cathodes are also transformed into formats, either billets (cylindrical) or cakes (rectangular).
